CORONAVIRUS POLICY AND PROCEDURES

While there is still much uncertainty with respect to the impacts of COVID-19, the safety and well-being of our passengers and employees remain our top priority. In line with the direction provided by health experts and government officials we have adapted and revised our charter offering, policy, and procedures to comply with all CDC guidelines in order to keep our passengers safe, healthy, and comfortable. We will continue to carefully evaluate this complex and fluid situation and make adjustments accordingly.

TFD Adventure Co. has always been safety oriented in all aspects of boating. Our crew has been extensively trained to put the safety of our guests first and foremost. We have added a comprehensive list of procedures to ensure cleanliness and compliance. Please see the list below containing our updated policy and procedures.

  • Captain and crew will be required to wear a mask at all times when interacting with guests. When the captain is at the helm station they will be able to remove their mask as long as everyone on board is comfortable.

  • If you are feeling ill or experiencing symptoms including fever, cough, shortness of breath, we ask that you please stay home. This includes our crew.

  • Captain and crew will be screened daily for the above described symptoms.

  • Guests are advised to bring their own mask and gloves aboard the vessel.

  • Masks and gloves will be available for purchase if a guest does not bring their own.

  • Capacity might be limited in order to maintain proper distancing to ensure the safety of our guests. This capacity is subject to change based on regulation regarding Covid-19.

  • Guests are advised to follow social distancing guidelines and maintain a 6 foot distance between other passengers

  • Private charters will be our only initial offering to make sure our guests are gathering with close friends and family only.

  • All surfaces will be regularly sanitized during and between tours

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided in multiple locations throughout the vessel

  • All bookings will need to be placed directly through the website in order to reduce contact

  • TFD Adventure Co.  reserves the right to refuse a passenger or a charter if that person/group seems to be experiencing any symptoms including fever, cough, and shortness of breath.
